In 1938 Fanz Kammerer established a small crafting company. Mainly components and parts for the clock industry had been produced there.
The second world war brought the whole production to a complete stand still.
After 1946 the production could be restarted again.

Over the clock production to the production of turned parts 1963 the trapezoid thread spindle was launched 1963 with the matching nuts. By doing this a new field was entered into, asking for a lot of patience, knowledge and precision.
After the early death of the company founder his sons Klaus and Wolfgang took over the responsibility and the management until the present precision production of the trapezoid thread spindles cross roll spindles, together with the matching nuts and bushings.

The delivery of best quality items was followed by a fast enlargement of the business and thus resulted in an expansion of the product capacities. The present room facilities could not match any more this extension.
In 1970 the purchase of a thread milling machine forced the company to move to
rented premises.

More and more longer and stronger thread spindles had been demanded, so that the construction of a new production hall had to be considered. Finally in
1977 the matching ground was found at Triberg and already in 1978 the company moved into the new production hall.

Through the particularly positive development during the last years it was necessary to provide further capacities and space dimensions. In 1990 further rooms in the premises of a former company at St. Georgen could be rented
and equipped mostly with new machines.
Even at that time it was quite clear that even the present production facility
will not be sufficient. An additional building with production facilities was realised at Triberg. Measures had been taken to take back the outer production plants to
Triberg.

Kammerer had been doing quite a lot of investing over the last years in order to offer production processing reaching far into the future and thus realising the quality peak of that what is technically achievable. at present. The company sees its task for the future, to even accelerate this technical ahead.
Visions of yesterday will be realised nowadays faster and faster. To face the permanent development of the company it is necessary to extend the administration and production spaces up to total 5.500 m². This extension is not possible any more at the present company location.
Despite of the good connections with the city of Triberg and its location there was only one possibility to erect own premises on own ground at the industrial estate at Hornberg

Not only the products are the warranty for keeping its place on the market but also the Know How and the ability to correspond to the market’s demands and the customs desires.
The Kammerer Gewindetechnik is now fully equipped and prepared therefore.
The production on one level is optimising the processing and improves the production power. The new company premises enables logistic improvement for the administration as well.
The present production plant, after the retirement of Klaus Kammerer due his age being managed now by Wolfgang
Kammerer, Peter Kammerer, and Achim Kammerer, is with its staff of approx. 100 persons one of the most demanded special producers of trapezoid thread parts, thread worms and worm conveyors cross roll spindles and ball screw parts.
Customers are companies out of the tool crafting branch, the general machinery
construction branch fine tooling producers, deliverers of handling automates and telescope spindles, the Aircraft industry car industries, medicine technique. Producers of robots and many other branches too. It may be appreciated particularly that the company has achieved meanwhile its reputation on the international market too.
