Plastic wipers extend the service life of ball screw drives

Ball screw threads should be protected from contamination and dirt. KAMMERER's standard plastic wipers take care of that. On one hand the wipers prevent contamination of the nut and on the other hand, avoid the loss of lubricants. Whenever possible, the wipers of the ball screw thread should be replaced after a certain period of service life. This will significantly affect the durability of the thread.

As an additional option, spiral springs can be used to cover the thread completely. They can be employed with all machining and non-cutting tools for the best possible protection.
